Wanted to share some of the cute faces of the foster dogs I've loved over the past few years. If you are thinking about adding a dog into your family, think adoption! Katie, my 3 year old St. Bernard/Great Dane mix, has always been kind enough to share her bed and toys with all her foster brothers. I loved them all! They all went to wonderful homes!!

Here's Looking at You

Finally finished a whimsical mosaic I created of a cat looking through a fish bowl. It took hundreds of cuts to make the right size tiles to fit into this design. So happy it is now complete! Hope you enjoy it!

I want to start spot lighting shops once a week and each day of the week highlight a new item from the shop.

This week I'm going to spotlight Geralyn's shop that creates beautiful and unique leather dog collars. I purchased one for my dog Katie (a Great Dane/St. Bernard mix) and just love it. Katie, of course, looks gorgeous in her collar. Here's a link to the shop for you to view all of the collars:

Happy St. Patrick's day to all! It's rainy, wet and cold in southern California right now.  I guess it's a great day for all things green that grow. They get to have a wet and wonderful day. Not into cabbage and corn beef but celebrating the day with the kids with pizza. Have a great day!

Needed a Break

I've been working on four new mosaics lately and I really needed a break. So yesterday we took our two children to Disneyland... the happiest place on earth. We had such a wonderful time and I was able to relax and have fun. Yes, I came home exhausted from the day but it was a good kind of tired, if you know what I mean. I haven't given myself time to relax and have some fun so this was really what I needed.

Hope everyone out there isn't working too hard and taking time for yourself. Something we all need to do from time to time.
