Need to Shop???
Thanksgiving and Christmas are quickly approaching, as well as other events you may be celebrating. Before you spend precious time and gas running from store to store and fighting the crowds only to find the same selection of gift ideas everywhere you go why not spend at least a few moments visiting etsy.com
Etsy is an online marketplace made up of over 850,000 independently owned and operated shops that create and sell their own handmade jewelry, clothing, housewares and personal care items as well as unusual Vintage and Antique items.
By shopping with one of these independently owned artist shops from the comfort of your home you will not only find unique gift ideas but you will be helping a small business person this season.
What could be easier. Unless you take a few moments to look you will never know if the perfect gifts for the special people in your life could be found without ever leaving the house.

Recipe
A friend of mine on Etsy shared her amazing marinara sauce recipe and I thought I'd share it:
The Best Marinara Sauce on the Planet
2 lb. garden tomatoes, washed
1 6-oz. can Italian tomato paste
1 T. brown sugar
1 medium clove garlic, minced
1/2 t. kosher salt
1/4 t. freshly ground black pepper
1/8 t. red pepper flakes
1 T. extra virgin olive oil
4 oz. very finely chopped Vidalia onion
2 T. sweet white wine
1 T. minced fresh parsley
1 t. finely chopped fresh oregano
4 large (lettuce leaf) or 8 small leaves fresh basil, cut in chiffonade
Place tomatoes, tomato paste, brown sugar, minced garlic, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes in a food processor (preferably a Vita Mix); process 'til completely smooth (tomato seeds are totally liquified). Meanwhile, heat oil over medium low heat in large saucepan; add onion and saute 'til soft, about 10 min. Add tomato mixture and white wine; heat to boiling, reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 1/2 hour. Add parsley, oregano and basil; stir and ENJOY!
(4 recipes yields 10 pints, if canning)
Happy eating! Thanks Maya!

Shoes
I've always been a little bit of a shoe fanatic or collector. Back in my 20s I had over 200 pair of shoes. But now that I'm getting older and have a bad back, I can't wear all the high heels I use to. Now I just enjoy unique and cool shoe finds. I've come across some shoes finds that I wanted to share. Hope you enjoy these finds as much as I did! (Had to add one for my husband since he had over 100 pairs of boots when we got married.) You can find these shoes at the following Etsy shops: Ridethewave.etsy.com, Mistymountainvintage.etsy.com, Fairysteps.etsy.com, Goodbyefolk.etsy.com

Three Bowl Diner
Enjoy elegance with this Three Is Company design. Posh tiles are used in this design. Offered in three different colors and choose bowls to match. When only the best will do!
Creating one diner at a time is what I do. No mass produced diners from my company. Each diner is hand crafted and hand cut in one of several designs. The customer can then personalize the diner to the height, color and bowls of their choice. So each is a labor of love and a piece of art to be displayed and enjoyed. With one of my newest designs, the customer can select from four different tiles colors, select ceramic bowls to match and customize the height for their beloved pet. Whether you have two small dogs or cats, this diner can be customize for them.
